Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and Check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
Property Access
- The owners use outdoor driveway facing surveillance to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras are inside the home.
- Self Check-in/Check-out is available.
Policies and Rules
- This property does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in.
- Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law.
- Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
- If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy (8 guests) allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- House rules: No smoking allowed. Minimum age: 25 years. Children allowed. No events allowed.
Fees and Payments
- Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night plus tax.
Parking Information
- This is a gravel driveway with capacity for 3 vehicles. 4WD or AWD is recommended during winter months November-March when traveling to the High Country.
- Free parking is available on site.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals.
- There is a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and bed linens will be provided for you.
- High-Speed Internet is available.
- Clothes washing machine and clothes dryer are available.
- Oven and stove are included in the kitchen appliances.
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present.
- Hot tub is available on the property.
- TV is available.
